Perfectly Paisley

This is my first winter in Oregon. I miss the sun and the bright red sunsets of my Colorado home. I needed to brighten up my day.

Perfectly Paisley, 2014

It’s been a little over a year since my grandmothers passing, so I based my whole look around her vintage paisley silk scarf. The warming reds, bright yellows, and subtle greens were the basis of my ensemble.  I wore a simple white collared shirt and grey pencil skirt to represent my Oregon surroundings. I used my yellow trench coat to represent my mood despite the weather around me. I wore my combat boots to portray that I was ready to take on the weather.

My black headband and Vera Bradley tote tied it all together and the rose gold Fossil watch and gold accessories gave the outfit extra pop.
